Community

We’re proud of our community and local area. For this reason we try to support events, groups, causes and initiatives close to our home, helping our community to thrive and supporting its diversity.

We support:

SPRG – For 11 years this project has provided cultural education for Hindu youths in the form of dance. A Harvest dance is traditional and the project staged a dance each year.

Busbridge Tennis Association – We donated money for the tennis centre which helped pay for a new playing surface, along with the fixtures and fittings needed for the installation.

Barrow Hills School – We regularly provide raffle prizes for the school, including tickets for our Chelsea box and vouchers for Geo. F. Trumpers, an exclusive barbers in London.

Tormead School – We donate tickets to our Chelsea box for the school to use as raffle prizes.

Durga Purja – Durga Puja is an annual Hindu festival which celebrates the goddess Durga by submerging an effigy in water. It is more traditionally a Bengali ceremony and the Bengali community in London celebrate by the Thames. We have previously provided the transport for the event and covered all of the costs of the production of an annual magazine produced by the organising group.
